Complete tasks or watch ads to earn eSIM data in 190+ countries. No credit card required.
Connected in three steps
Get online before you even leave the airport.
1Select your destination
Choose from 190+ countries within the app. Your eSIM installs in a single tap, alongside your existing SIM — no QR codes and no settings to navigate.
2Complete tasks, watch ads, or purchase data
Build your balance by completing tasks or watching advertisements. The number required varies by destination and current demand, and is shown before you begin. If you would rather not, purchase a full-speed plan with Apple Pay, Google Pay, card or PayPal.
3Arrive already connected
Enable data roaming on landing and you are online within seconds. Earned data does not expire, so a balance built before one trip remains available for the next.
Watch an ad. Do a task. It all adds up.
However you mix them, everything lands in the same balance.
Share a quick opinion — usually faster than an ad.
Press play, let it run — it counts when it ends.
- Stop anytime — what you've earned stays earned
- No daily limit — top up as often as you like
- Never expires — it waits for your next trip
How many you need varies by destination and demand.

Earn data, or purchase it
Build a balance by completing tasks or watching advertisements, or buy a full-speed plan outright. Both credit the same eSIM.
Never cut off mid-trip
You are notified at 80% so there is time to top up before you lose signal. Earned data does not expire.
Keep your own number
Airvoy is a data-only eSIM, so your home SIM remains active for calls and texts. Nothing to swap or configure.
Earned data keeps you connected. Paid data removes the limits.
Both credit the same eSIM. The difference is speed, availability, and whether you spend time or money.

Most connection issues come down to one of five things. Work through the list before contacting support.
Turn on Data Roaming
Fixes most casesYour eSIM runs on local partner networks abroad, so without roaming enabled it will not connect at all — even though you are using your own Airvoy balance at no additional cost. iPhone: Settings › Cellular › Airvoy › Data Roaming. Android: Settings › Connections › Mobile Networks › Data Roaming.
Set Airvoy as your data line
Enable the Airvoy line and select it for mobile data. Keep your home SIM as the default line so calls and texts continue to reach you.
Check your balance is not empty
Open the Manage tab to review your balance. If it is empty, top up through the Earn tab or purchase a plan; data is credited immediately on completion.
Force a fresh network scan
Toggle Airplane Mode on and off, or restart the device, then allow up to a minute for it to register with a local network.
Still seeing "SOS only"?
You are likely outside partner coverage. Move toward a town centre or a window and scan again — coverage can vary street to street.
Still stuck? Re-check the install steps or email support.
Questions, answered
Everything you need to know before your first trip.
Download the app and create your eSIM. Build a data balance by completing tasks or watching advertisements, or purchase a full-speed plan if you would rather not. Once you land and enable data roaming, you are connected in 190+ countries.
There is no fixed number. The requirement varies by destination, by current advertiser and research demand, and by platform, and it is displayed in the app before you begin. Topping up over Wi-Fi generally reduces it.
Short evaluation exercises — comparisons, ratings, preference selections and similar. The specific format varies by destination and by the organisation commissioning the work, so it will not always be the same as last time.
They are aggregated with those of other users before being provided to the organisations commissioning the work. Individual responses are not disclosed in identifying form, are not linked to your contact details or browsing activity, and personal information is not sold.
No. Task availability depends on which organisations are running studies covering your region at the time. Rewarded advertisements are available wherever the free tier is offered, so there is always an alternative route to topping up.
Earned data is capped at 512 kbps, which is sufficient for messaging, maps, browsing and music but not high-definition video. Paid data runs unthrottled at full 4G/5G, supports hotspot use and large downloads, and requires no tasks or advertisements. Paid plans are also available in every supported destination, including those where the free tier is not offered.
Earned data does not expire; build a balance whenever convenient and retain it for a future trip. Purchased plans are valid for twelve months from first use. In both cases, usage begins only once you arrive at your destination and enable data.
Yes. A single Airvoy eSIM works across all supported countries, so there is no need to install a new profile for each trip. Do not uninstall it — a profile can only be issued once.
No. Airvoy is data-only and does not include a mobile number. Keep your existing SIM active for calls and texts, and use Airvoy for data.
Yes. Anyone may claim a free eSIM by registering with a WhatsApp or SMS number, with no credit card required. Data is then earned through tasks or advertisements. A small number of countries where wholesale data costs are very high do not offer the free tier.
Yes. Connect to any Wi-Fi network and top up from there — an empty balance does not prevent you from refilling it. Paid plans can also be purchased over Wi-Fi at any time.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit or debit card, or PayPal, all from within the app.
Install the iOS or Android app, create your eSIM, and follow the in-app installation steps. Data roaming must be enabled for the eSIM, or it will not connect.
