Create your eSIM in the app

Open the Airvoy app, select your destination, and build a balance by completing tasks or watching advertisements — or purchase a plan to skip the requirement entirely.

Install it in one tap

Airvoy installs the eSIM profile directly onto your phone. It then appears under Settings › Cellular alongside your main SIM. Seeing it listed there confirms it installed correctly.

Turn on the Airvoy line

Open Settings › Cellular, select your Airvoy eSIM, and enable Turn On This Line. Returning to the Cellular screen, set Cellular Data to Airvoy. Leave your home number as the default line so calls and texts continue to work.

Enable data roaming

This is the step most frequently missed. With your Airvoy eSIM selected, go to Settings › Cellular › Airvoy and enable Data Roaming.

Your eSIM runs on local partner networks abroad, so without roaming enabled it will not connect — even though you are using your own balance at no additional cost.

You're online

Allow up to a minute for the device to register with a local network. If nothing happens, toggle Airplane Mode on and off to force a fresh scan.

One thing to remember: do not delete the Airvoy eSIM from your phone. A profile can only be installed once, so removing it means it cannot be reissued. Switch the line off when it is not needed instead. Earned data does not expire, so your balance will be waiting for the next trip.
